We cherish our employees and our community! On August 29, 2024, we hosted our Employee Recognition Event to show our appreciation for everyone we work with
It's always heartwarming to meet new people and learn something new about colleagues we thought we knew well. Upon check-in, we were given name tags and Bingo cards with prompts to spark conversations, such as "Who lived on the East Coast?" and "Did you go to the movie theater this past month?" It was delightful to discover little-known facts about our colleagues from different offices.
At the beginning of our event, we were treated to a delicious and satisfying lunch that was complemented by a wonderful selection of items donated by generous businesses that we are proud to have as our partners. Following this delightful start, our Executive Director, Kellie Lyon, took the stage to outline the event itinerary and provide us with an overview of what we could look forward to throughout the day.
The event was filled with inspiring performances and touching stories that highlighted the ways our company and employees are making a positive impact in the community. We heard about employees assisting mothers in finding new employment and housing, helping children improve their language skills, and supporting clients in their careers and daily lives. Additionally, there were entertaining musical performances and skits that brought some lighthearted fun to the event.
In a gesture of appreciation and recognition, our organization recently held a special event to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our employees. Through a fair and unbiased selection process, several of our employees were selected to be winners of our various awards.
The Pearl Award is given annually to a discerning employee who represents service, integrity, and dedication to the community and DDI Vantage, This year it is Martha V.
Martha joined DDI Vantage in 2003 and has demonstrated unwavering commitment to serving the community. Her most significant accomplishment at DDI Vantage has been the invaluable assistance provided to numerous diverse families, both individually and as part of her team. In addition to her role at DDI Vantage, Martha has been serving as a field instructor at the University of Utah since 2005, where she has guided numerous students pursuing a Bachelor's in Social Work, facilitating internships for 28 of them in their respective fields.
