Family Advocate Coach, Early Head Start

A part-time (19 hrs/wk) position has become available for a Family Advocate Coach in our Early Head Start program at our 4500 South site. The Family Advocate Coach provides services for children and their families in the areas of positive adult-child interactions, sensory rich environments, developmentally appropriate activities and practices for children and their families while promoting school readiness and high quality learning. The Coach will also support the professional development of Family Advocates in their work with children and families. Driving is required so you must be at least 21, have reliable transportation, a current driver license, car insurance, and a good driving record. A bachelor's degree in Human Development, Family Studies, Child Development or a related field is preferred and a minimum of one year of related experience in early childhood education, family services, or another related field is required. Knowledge of community resources is a plus.
