ERSEA Specialist 4500 South
29 hours/week
Early Head Start
A part-time position has become available for an ERSEA Specialist to support the eligibility, recruitment, enrollment, selection, and attendance areas of the Early Head Start program at our 4500 South location. The Early Head Start Program provides services to low-income families with children in the birth to three age range and/or pregnant women. In this position you will participate in enrollment and recruitment activities including implementing recruitment plans in the community to identify and target low income families. You will also conduct application appointments with interested families, assist with prioritization and selection into the program, and track and input enrollment data in the electronic information system. Driving is required so you must be at least 21, have reliable transportation, a current driver license, auto insurance, and a good driving record. This job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of six months in social or family services and experience working with children and families. This position comes with good benefits including vacation, sick, and personal leave, 18 paid holidays, retirement through Utah Retirement Systems, 401(k) options, mileage reimbursement at 50 cents a mile and a flexible schedule. Child Care Adviser

Early Head Start-CC
A full-time (40 hr/wk) position has become available in the Early Head Start program for a Child Care Adviser to provide services for children and families in center-based partnerships to address the early childhood development and disabilities components of the Head Start Program Performance Standards. In this position you will observe classrooms, plan trainings for childcare teachers, and ensure classroom lesson plans align with child development goals. Experience working with children and families is a center setting is preferred. We require a bachelors degree in education, family development, human development, social services or related area. You must be at least 21, have reliable transportation, a current drivers license, car insurance, and a good driving record. Family Advocate-Tooele

Early Head Start
A part-time position has become available for a Family Advocate in our Early Head Start program at our Tooele location. The Family Advocate provides services for pregnant women and for children and their families in the areas of early childhood development, disabilities, child health and safety, nutrition, prenatal education, and family partnerships. Job duties include: Conducting weekly home visits to provide education, referrals, and other advisory services to program participants; Assisting parents and pregnant women in ensuring that their health and mental health needs are met; Providing emotional support for families and assisting them in their role as an advocate for their child. Driving is required so you must be at least 21, have reliable transportation, a current driver license, auto insurance, and a good driving record. We require at least a Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or Associate’s degree in Human Development, Family Studies, Child Development or a related field and a minimum of one year of related experience in early childhood education, family services, or other related fields. Knowledge of community resources is a plus. DDI VANTAGE provides home-based Early Intervention services to special needs children from birth to three and we are looking for an on-call Spanish Interpreter to accompany providers to the homes of clients to provide oral interpretation and written translation for the families they serve. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating. Driving will be required therefore, you must have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. We offer mileage reimbursement at 50 cents per mile. A motor vehicle report and background screen are run on all new hires.

Speech and Language Pathologist-Duchesne
Early Intervention
A part-time position has become available for a Speech and Language Pathologist in our Early Intervention program at our Duchesne site. In this position you will serve as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to perform evaluations and provide home-based individual services to infants and toddlers with special needs and their families. We will provide training in early intervention to the right candidate. This job requires a Master's degree from an accredited college oruniversity in Speech and Language Pathology, Utah state licensure, and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or commencement of Clinical Fellowship Year. This position comes with good benefits including vacation and sick leave, 18 holidays, 401 (k) options, and mileage reimbursement at 50 cents a mile. Somali Interpreter
Early Intervention
DDI VANTAGE Early Intervention program in Salt Lake City provides home-based services to special needs children from birth to three. We are looking for an on-call Somali Interpreter to accompany therapists to the homes of the children and families we serve to provide oral interpretation and written translation services. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Somali. Driving will be required therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. A background screen and motor vehicle report will be run on all new hires. This position comes with some benefits including a flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement.

Burmese Interpreter

Karin Interpreter

This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Karin. We offer mileage reimbursement at .50 per mile.

Kurdish Interpreter
