Support Specialist
Adult and Youth Services-Park City, UT
Part-Time
Join us and make a difference in the lives of others! The Adult and Youth Services program is looking for a Support Specialist to provide mentoring for adults and youth with special needs in the areas of daily life skills (budgeting, grocery shopping, self-care, social activities, etc.) and supported employment. You must be at least 18 years of age. For applicants 21 or over, you will be required to drive clients to their scheduled appointments in the Park City area. You will need a good driving record, a current drivers license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation. We require a high school diploma or equivalent and we prefer a minimum of six months related experience. Benefits include a flexible schedule, vacation and sick leave, 401(k) options, and mileage reimbursement at 50 cents per mile. A background screen and motor vehicle report are done on all new employees.

Program Records Secretary

Early Intervention-Duchesne Site
There is currently a 15 hr/wk opening in the Early Intervention program at our Duchesne site for a Program Records Secretary. In this position you will answer phones, field general questions from the public, take referrals, greet visitors, take meeting minutes and provide overall clerical and reception support for the Early Intervention Program staff. Driving may be required on occasion therefore you must be at least 21 years of age, have a current driver license and car insurance, and a good driving record. A background screen and motor vehicle report are performed on all new employees. This position comes with vacation and sick leave, 401(k) options, and flexible schedule.

Family Service Coordinator

Early Intervention-East Site
Are you looking for a rewarding career making a difference in the life of a child? We are currently seeking a part-time (29 hr/wk) Family Service Coordinator for our Early Intervention program at our East site. In this position you will provide information and support to families and coordinate services for children with special needs. You must possess good organizational, communication, and documentation skills as much of the job is paperwork-focused. We require a bachelor’s degree in a related field and prefer some experience in social services. This job requires visiting families in the home therefore, you must have reliable transportation, a current driver license and car insurance, and a good driving record. Family Advocate - Bilingual Spanish Early Head Start - EHS 4500 Site
A part-time (19 hrs/wk) position has become available for a Family Advocate-Bilingual Spanish in our Early Head Start program at our 4500 South, Salt Lake City, site. The Family Advocate provides services for pregnant women and for children and their families in the areas of early childhood development, prenatal education, disabilities, child health and safety, nutrition, and family partnerships. Job duties include conducting weekly home visits to provide education, referrals, and other advisory services to program participants, assisting parents and pregnant women in ensuring that their health and mental health needs are met, and providing emotional support for families and assisting them in their role as an advocate for their child. Driving is required so you must be at least 21, have reliable transportation, a current driver license, car insurance, and a good driving record. A bachelor’s degree in Human Development, Family Studies, Child Development or a related field is preferred and a minimum of one year of related experience in early childhood education, family services, or another related field is required. Knowledge of community resources is a plus. Somali Interpreter

DDI VANTAGE Early Intervention program in Salt Lake City provides home-based services to special needs children from birth to three. We are looking for an on-call Somali Interpreter to accompany therapists to the homes of the children and families we serve to provide oral interpretation and written translation services. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Somali. Driving will be required therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. A background screen and motor vehicle report will be run on all new hires. This position comes with some benefits including a flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement.

Burmese Interpreter
Early Intervention
DDI VANTAGE provides home-based early intervention services to special needs children from birth to three. We are looking for a part-time Burmese Interpreter to accompany staff to the homes of the children and families we serve to provide oral interpretation and written translation services. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Burmese. Driving will be required therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. A background screen and motor vehicle report will be run on all new hires. This position comes with some benefits including a flexible schedule and mileage reimbursement.

Karin Interpreter
Early Intervention
DDI VANTAGE provides home-based early intervention services to special needs children from birth to three. We are looking for an on-call Karin Interpreter to accompany staff to the homes of the children and families we serve to provide oral interpretation and written translation services. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Karin. Driving will be required therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. We offer mileage reimbursement at .50 per mile.

Kurdish Interpreter

We are looking for an on-call Kurdish Interpreter to accompany staff to the homes of the children and families we serve to provide oral interpretation and written translation services. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Kurdish. Driving will be required therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record.
