Child Development Specialist-West
40 hours/week
Early Intervention
A full-time position (40 hrs/wk) has become available in our Early Intervention Program at the West site for a Child Development Specialist. This position will provide home-based therapy services to special needs children from birth to three in order to enhance the child's development and assist parents in implementing a home program. We require a bachelor’s degree in education, family development, human development, social services or related area. This job requires visiting families in the home therefore, you must be at least 21, have reliable transportation, a current driver license, car insurance, and a good driving record. This position comes with excellent benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance, vacation, sick, and personal leave, 18 paid holidays, 401(k) options, retirement through the Utah Retirement Systems, and mileage reimbursement at 50 cents a mile. A background screen and motor vehicle report will be done on all new hires.

Registered Nurse 29-hours/week-Tooele
Early Intervention
Are you looking for a rewarding career making a difference in the life of a child? The Early Intervention program serves special needs children from birth to 3 years old. We are currently looking to hire a part-time (29 hr/wk) Registered Nurse to work at our Tooele site. In this position you will be part of an evaluation team doing medical assessments on infants and toddlers in their homes to determine eligibility for our program. You must have a Utah RN license. We prefer some pediatric experience, however, we will train the right candidate in early intervention. Driving will be required for this position, therefore you must be at least 21, have a good driving record, a current license and car insurance, and reliable transportation. Program Coordinator 40-hours/week
Adult and Youth Services
The DDI VANTAGE Adult and Youth Services Program is looking for a full-time Program Coordinator to oversee the supervision of staff and the development of the program to ensure that maximum services are provided to the program participants. This position will market the program to potential clients, complete the intake process, and consult with case managers and employers as needed. This person will also provide direct services. We are looking for someone with supervisory experience, good administrative skills, comfort with doing trainings and presentations, and familiarity and experience working with adults with disabilities. We prefer a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, special education or related field, and a minimum of two years related experience; or a substitution of related experience on a year-for-year basis for education. Support Specialist 15-19 hours/week
Adult and Youth Services
The Adult and Youth Services program is looking for a part-time Support Specialist to provide supported employment and supported living services to individuals with disabilities in the community. In this position you will provide support to clients in their workplace and/or in the home in the areas of medical needs, personal hygiene, transportation, social activities, and other life skills. We require a high school diploma or equivalent and we prefer a minimum of six months related experience. We provide vacation and sick leave, mileage reimbursement and a flexible schedule. This position requires driving therefore you must be at least 21, have a current driver license and car insurance, reliable transportation, and a good driving record. Family Advocate-Tooele
19 hours/week
Early Head Start
A part-time position has become available for a Family Advocate for our Early Head Start program at our Tooele site. The Family Advocate provides services for pregnant women, and for children and their families in the areas of early childhood development, disabilities, child health and safety, nutrition, prenatal education, and family partnerships. Job duties include conducting weekly home visits to provide education, referrals, and other advisory services to program participants; assist parents and pregnant women in ensuring that their health and mental health needs are met; and provide emotional support for families and assist them in their role as an adovocate for their child. Driving is required so you must be at least 21, have relicable transportation, a current driver license, car insurance and a good driving record. A Bachelors degree in Human Development, Family Studies, Child Development or a related field is required. Knowledge of community resources is a plus. Spanish Interpreter-Tooele

DDI VANTAGE provides home-based Early Intervention services to special needs children from birth to three and we are looking for an on-call Spanish Interpreter to accompany providers to the homes of clients to provide oral interpretation and written translation for the families they serve. This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating. Driving will be required therefore, you must have a current driver license, car insurance, reliable transportation and a good driving record. We offer mileage reimbursement at 50 cents per mile. A motor vehicle report and background screen are run on all new hires.

This position requires a minimum of one year of related experience in interpreting and translating in Somali. Burmese Interpreter

We offer mileage reimbursement at .50 per mile.

Kurdish Interpreter

We are looking for an on-call Kurdish Interpreter to accompany staff to the homes of the children and families we serve to provide oral interpretation and written translation services.
